Sam Buckley
Before coming to Hemel, Sam taught PE in Gateshead for a number of years and has developed the ability to stand happily in freezing cold rain and high winds. This in no way equipped him for his three years at Oak Hill Theological College which he finished in 2014.
He is married to Melissa and they have three children.
Dave Couch
Originally from the sunny seaside town of Ramsgate in Kent, Dave joined the staff at Christ Church Hemel in September 2018.
Before starting theological training, he was working as a software engineer for a large media company.
He is married to Izzie, and they have three young daughters.
Aled Davies
Originally from Wales, Aled is married to Rosie and they have four children.
He has been part of Christ Church Hemel since it was planted.
Robert Matheson
Robert retired in 2019 having worked as a software engineer in the test & measurement industry. He now spends some of his time doing voluntary work and enjoys a round of golf when he can.
He is married to Caroline and they have 3 children and 7 grandchildren.
James Petitt
Originally from Colchester in Essex, James is married to Claire, and they have three children. He loves playing and watching sport and has a special interest in small Italian cars.
