Jesus is speaking to His disciples. These disciples have spent the past three years with Jesus. Seeing Him teach. Seeing Him perform signs and wonders. Seeing Him even raise people to life.
But now, in John 13-14, it is just them. Just Jesus and His true disciples. And Jesus has told them that He’ll soon be leaving. He’ll soon be betrayed. He’ll soon be killed.
Imagine being one of those disciples. You have seen wonderful things. You have seen God at work. You have had the chance to walk and to talk; to laugh and to cry with Jesus. And now He’s leaving. What are you thinking? How does it make you feel?
Join us this July as we look at the questions those disciples have and the answers they are given. Answers that affect us today too.
